01

Think about what will be visible

Which edges will be exposed? Which disappear inside a frame or cabinet? Mark them on your drawing so the desired finish is clear. Your quote confirms the edgework included for each piece.

02

Describe the corners

Tell IDS whether the project calls for square corners, softened corners or a specific radius. Use dimensions when a radius is important. The builder records preferences for review rather than confirming that every combination is available.

03

Choose thickness with the whole application in mind

Dimensions alone do not determine the correct thickness. Support, load, hardware and applicable requirements matter. If you are unsure, choose “Help me choose” in the builder and describe the application.

04

Keep cutouts in the same conversation

Holes and notches affect the complete piece. Include their size, position and purpose on a drawing, and ask IDS to confirm feasibility before ordering. Do not use the on-screen preview as a template.
